What is ideally better- to have one universal language (English or some other) oe having multitude of languages, as they today exist? Amitabh... IPS Officer

Amitabh, why one universal language..? the question is raised aiming the question of political governance & world trade, but the reality is different, languages are not mere communication tool as mostly defined by linguistics, language is sentimental, cultural, historical & emotional, when a person learns a language he learns the culture, history & society of the language associated with, British colonists & Christian missionaries learned Indian languages to captivate & govern people in the name of law & religion, they knew if they have to rule us first they should know our language. Our difference makes our might!!

Death sentences shall be given in rarest of the rare cases, particularly related with grotesque terrorism. Your comment please?... Amitabh, IPS Officer

Amitabh first I would like to appreciate you, where sites like linkedin is extremely used as professional networking tool, people like you give importance to "people rights", you stress the importance of public interest filing (public interest litigation), you fight for social cause & humanitarian measures, here I would like to stress one important message more and more people are turning against death sentence, world wide democratic countries started revoking death sentence as it is not the only way or remedial measure curbing crime or mass violence, mostly country like India, legal procedures & acts (TADA / POTA) directed towards innocent people who are completely unaware of terrorism or disruptive activities & moreover these acts don't provide even the least democratic right to defend one thyself as mostly these acts stress the burden of proof on the accused & not on the prosecution side. In camera courts deny the access of right to information of press & the press portray them as barbaric terrorist, in the whole scenario people get intimidated as supporting terrorism & anti state. How one can be justified of terrorist & death sentence inevitable

Do you think that success in business today is based more on luck?...Richard Sink

Answer for this question is an eternal secret, Reader’s Digest several years before published an article on luck where keen observation & immediate reaction as a parameter of luck. Several different people are made to observe whose quick responses are recorded as luck. I observe today’s success are mere accidents but not all together, success comes out of perseverance, hard work & smart decisions, where success comes out of sheer negligence, effortless & comfort we consider its true luck and not by any means, more over perseverance & luck all together contributes success.

How do you contribute to the "world" ?....Steven Burda

Steven, its a question been asked "whom we are" & "why we are here", being a humanist, being an entrepreneur can give us social status & recognition, today's scientific world, modern society have many challenges imposed on political setup, state machinery and mere public, as a public we can campaign against deforestation, against polluting, against unwanted wars, can work to preserve endangered species, against global warming...etc but everything needs an organization, propaganda mechanism taking the cause to general public above all a alternative plan which would take the cause to next level, for example energy conservation, alternative approach to nuclear propelled power generation needs alternative ideas which should be addressed. For implementing alternative ideas medium and small enterprises (SME) should be given incentives & encouragement to concentrate and committed. For sure thinking about mass and acting for benefit of them would keep us going. Its not difficult to get confused on philanthropy / work / family, love to do, loving to be active, loving to do deeds would fuel our spirits to do.

I know it is not easy giving up a steady job, the corporate life... How did you manage that? I know it's not an easy life but how you managed to do so well?....Rajan Iyengar

It all depends on our cash reserve cash flow and our expected returns on investment on a prescribed time frame, who ever able to manage expense, returns and cash flow can choose an entrepreneurial mission. Always should expect the unexpected, when you aspire to go bigger your expectations become big, when your profit comes down to less than 50 percent out of your expected out come, you are caught in tight corners, when you quote and expect your outcome with low margin and thrive for more expecting unexpected you can win over tight corners, today's competitive business would teach us to lessen our expenditure cutting down miscellaneous expenditure carefully managing cash flow & cash reserve.

What do you all think .. • How to close gender gaps in a work place &help men/women to be peers • What, in your view, are the mantras for a woman to achieve success at the workplace? • What will be the biggest challenge for future generation of women.....kavitha rajendran

Indian women in general I believe caught between rural & urban complexities, this evolution is due to socio economic factors, career & home I understand there is a significant difference in men & women, flexible work timings and timely resident work set up can help women to reach their goals, Men or Women, gender difference, I believe a competent workforce can only restore friendliness, peer cooperation support evolving a healthier environment, a competent workforce is likely a real healthy environment which is measured in terms of true performance, skills, combined with appropriate recognition with no partiality, prejudice, modern entities lack humanness, conventional establishments lack technical aspects, a neo modern or conventional establishments with modern outlook can reduce gender issues.

'Without Trust, little can be accomplished' - What are the key elements of building trust?...Neil Emmet

We all know "Trust" is the fundamental element of any relationship, I won't say it can be developed by "gestures" alone, besides "deeds" are the only practical measure which would grow trust between long lasting relationship.
When you stick on to your promise, when you work towards aiming rapport, when you are true to your relationship, trust grows to incredible heights.
