What drives a candidate to stay with a company?

“"Recognition" is the one where most of the employees yearn for, this one is among the junior level & middle level of the human resource. Recognition boosts employee morale, dedication and sincerity. Rendering periodic appreciation using performance parameters, but never degrading the other in terms of performance indicators will yield us results. Performance bonus, cultural activities of get together will sustain the team spirit, create ambience for a healthy hormonical environment. No partial difference should arise in a studious process of yielding results, partiality will hatch prejudice, and the senior management should be frank on dealing employee relations. Transparency is the key to succeed in employee relations."

Why everybody mention their achivements in their resumes and hide their failures?

“My hard times are my learning, never would I mention it as failures, I do put my learning in my resume and do elaborate with the recruiter. It gives me a positive posture of image, if it does not work out, it’s not my fault, and everybody has bad experience and learning. But I would not reveal the internal discomforts which I might have experienced due to egoistical hierarchal setup or exploits of my any of my co-workers which will be cynical remarks on my part. Putting my image to scrutiny needs lot of guts where most of us fear to showcase, but I suggest all to open up their learning not as failures but as learning"

What is better for cost cutting - Salary Cuts or Layoffs?

" thank you for asking this question, because I have been thinking of a solution for such a situation. If you ask me the appropriate measure to manage or to handle the financial crisis I would say its effective planning strategy which would be the counter measure handling the pit fall. Effective planning strategy is not layoffs or salary cuts, but cutting down the operational expenses, postponing the immediate projects of high costs until the depression period is over, planning the alternative methods of revenue involving low expenditure and diverting the human resource to the alternative revenue yielding projects. What I say is not so easy as we discuss, but I believe the practice of effective planning strategy will dramatically yield results without layoffs and salary cuts."

Handling Criticism

“Surely criticism is a healthy way of understanding one's own and other's. There is no negative or positive criticism, cynicsm is there, we discuss about critics and criticism not about cynics. I observe criticism is a way of commenting on the issue, and we always encourage comments, the comments revealed will help us to understand our own deeds & faults unless we would not be able to visualize our work, criticism is a reflection of what we do and perhaps criticism might be wrong more often. But criticism develops healthier relations with that of professionals and personal relations where the need is authentic. One who observes criticism as a healthy sport and encourage critics will find a good way of understanding the whole, will able to scale beyond limits"

Most sales people are treated as unwholesome freaks who have been gifted with the gab. The truth is otherwise: the art of selling is about training, method, analysis and measurement????????

“"Sales" one sales guy elaborated, is to make the consumer do what we intend to do, basically I find the philosophy behind sales is unholy & the guilty close is the one I hate mostly. I suggest the sales people to go for the needy, bundle up your lies and blanket them to be burnt in the next Bogi festival or on Dasara, whatever. You know the lies will not sustain even for next dawn, will show the ugly teeth of your sales, and you will loose your reputation if you have one such. Never never press anybody to sell your product, or making him guilty for not getting your product or service, and never think you have won by closing a deal. Go to the needy of course finding one is half the way across the bridge, give them a good presentation leave the option to the buyer, if he is positive give a final push but the whole heartedness should be there. Never be greedy, I have found most sales organizations are very greedy, greedy of tapping the market, but they don't have enough patience or sales techniques to behold, or to train their resource selling their products. They simply say to knock the doors, they know pretty well the number of calls would not help the sales guy to close a deal, because the number of quality calls does matter, but the greediness blinds the eye to rationalize the organizations. Don't think of increasing your calls, but increase the quality of your call, even if you make few calls a day should worth converting to business. That's why I ask the sales guy to go for the needy, understand your product; it’s not how it functions, but whom they might get to be used. I pity for the sales organizations because they don't know anything about the product or the market or the market potential, or market mapping or the resource they hire. They simply depend upon only one technique they believe, that is the fire crackers and the donkey, if you want to drive a donkey like a stallion, its simple, fasten the fire cracker on the tail of your lazy donkey & ignite them, you know what happens, that’s the only technique been used to drive a sales person till the guy is weary enough to leave the job."

Is 'Country Branding' really needed for a country? Why and how this can impact the future of nation?

"Mostly country branding is used to kindle the patriotic fervor of the people, using it for the state's mobility of narrow desires of state's bureaucracy and political set up. The mass, the herd, drunken with the nationalism forget to realize the pros & cons of the victims and the losers of the monopoly and the imperialistic attitude of the state, since it’s the planned, systematic move of the bureaucracy, politicians and the rich class, and their intention is to sell the brand. But the general notion is to sell the brand for the bureaucrats, politicians and the upper classes are benefited the most. I am personally against the branding, what we brand, we know, the one we brand is commodity, where we would sell, we know country brand would be sold primarily into domestic market on sports & politics, and we know specifically sports & politics decides the future of the economy which in turn decides the politics. So never I would suggest a country branding, never a genuine person knowingly will go for country branding as all those are against the mass, against the people, never it would allow humanity to flourish, never it would allow for a decent, democratic wrangle or to a county's soul of doing good to their own citizens conscience. (If you need any clarification I am ready to give you further more)”

Is telephonic interview sufficient to judge anyone’s personality???

“It takes only few seconds to judge a person out of the body language which he communicates unconsciously, which determines his energy level, communiqué and the flexibility of accommodation. The innate strength of raising to the occasion, tackling the stressful environment, sorting out the needy and the ability to sell, everything can be judged over an in person meeting with the candidate, never by a teleconference session. But the preliminary need of initiating a call do facilitate a rapport to understand the basic need of making out an in person discussion which will facilitate us to finalize. Recently a HR manager asked one of my friends to mail his copy of recently taken photograph after commencing two consequent telecon interviews each prolonged not less than hour, which means he was stated saying he needs a mapping over the personality of the candidate with his voice and picture. He needs to get clarified much more than after two consequent hours of teleconversation."
